Biology Expert – AI Trainer (Remote, Mexico)

About the role

We develop high‑quality STEM training data for cutting‑edge AI models used by leading labs. As a Biology Expert‑AI Trainer you will design deterministic, science‑based problems that have a single verifiable answer, mirroring real‑world experimental and computational workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design advanced biology problems that challenge frontier AI systems.
• Create deterministic tasks with exactly one correct solution.
• Submit complete, verified solutions for each problem.
• Develop tasks involving experimental reasoning, biological systems, computational analysis, or bioinformatics pipelines.
• Utilise Python and, when relevant, specialised bioinformatics or computational biology tools.
• Maintain rigorous standards of reproducibility, technical clarity and scientific accuracy.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Biology or a related life‑science discipline.
• Research or industry experience with computational or quantitative biological analysis.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Excellent scientific reasoning and multi‑step problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to craft original, difficult problems grounded in authentic biological practice.
• Clear written English and meticulous attention to detail.

What we offer

• Up to $40 USD per hour.
