Business Controller – Americas

About the role

Dormer Pramet, a global supplier of metal cutting tools, is seeking a Business Controller for the Americas region. Reporting to the regional leadership team, you will act as a trusted financial advisor, combining finance expertise with commercial insight to drive performance and support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse profitability, revenue, margins and efficiency to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Sales and leadership on commercial and strategic decision‑making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.
• Provide data‑driven insights and forward‑looking analysis for business decisions.
• Support growth initiatives, including M&A and integration activities.
• Ensure financial governance, reporting accuracy, compliance and risk management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field (MBA a plus).
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, controlling or business partnering.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including pricing and profitability analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proactive, results‑driven and comfortable influencing decisions.
• Collaborative, curious and able to work across functions and cultures.
