Business Development Manager – Cloud, Data & AI (Mexico)

About the role

Blend is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the full presales cycle for complex cloud, data and AI solutions in Mexico. You will bridge technical capabilities with business outcomes, working closely with C‑level executives and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end presales process, from opportunity identification to closing high‑value deals, while managing the pipeline in Salesforce.
• Design and present AWS‑based solutions (EC2, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock, Redshift, Glue, Athena) that address client business challenges.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine go‑to‑market strategies and create sales assets such as case studies, battlecards and playbooks.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.
• Facilitate the adoption of US cultural and technical processes within the Colombian branch and the broader NOLA region.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of experience in business development, presales or solution architecture within the technology sector.
• Proven track record of closing high‑value cloud, data or AI/ML deals.
• Strong functional knowledge of AWS services and experience with the AWS Partner Network.
• Proficiency in consultative sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger or SPIN.
• Fluent written and spoken English; AWS Solutions Architect certification is a plus.
