About the role

Apollo.io is seeking a Business Recruiter to lead full‑cycle talent acquisition for its Sales and Marketing teams. This high‑ownership position works on a lean, high‑performing team and partners closely with hiring managers to deliver top‑quality candidates for mid‑ and senior‑level roles.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruiting for mid‑ and senior‑level sales and marketing positions, handling a portfolio of multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Design and execute sourcing strategies that build diverse, qualified pipelines and adjust tactics based on funnel performance.
• Conduct structured screens, create interview plans, and lead calibrated debriefs to ensure defensible hiring decisions.
• Manage 20+ phone screens per week and generate 360+ outbound contacts each quarter.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time pipeline data in Greenhouse and report progress proactively to leadership.
• Track funnel metrics, diagnose slowdowns, and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Partner with hiring managers as a talent advisor, shaping role definitions and candidate expectations.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Compensation on offer approvals and headcount processes.
• Identify and implement workflow, process, or tool improvements that increase recruiting efficiency.

Required profile

• 7+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably within sales or marketing functions.
• Proven ability to operate with minimal oversight and proactively solve problems.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to influence recruiting strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and a talent‑advisor approach to stakeholder interactions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Greenhouse applicant tracking system.
