Buyer – Component Cost Estimation & Supplier Management

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Buyer to lead component cost estimation and manage supplier relationships for our design projects. This hybrid position in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, offers the opportunity to influence cost‑effective solutions and strengthen our supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis and estimation of component costs for new product designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms.
• Develop and implement supplier development and management strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of components.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing RFQs (Request for Quotation) in engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of component cost estimation methodologies such as BOM costing, should‑costing, and cost analysis.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to work collaboratively with suppliers.
• Experience in supplier development and performance optimization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with internal stakeholders.
