Buyer II

About the role

The Buyer II will be responsible for purchasing materials, parts, supplies and equipment for Littelfuse, ensuring compliance with established purchasing policies while optimizing price, delivery and terms.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze offers and lead negotiations to secure competitive prices and purchasing conditions (approximately 60% of time).
• Manage pricing revisions, order cancellations, delivery date changes and resolve invoice discrepancies (about 25%).
• Execute product and service purchases in accordance with company procedures (10%).
• Contact vendors to obtain pricing information and schedule deliveries (5%).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or university equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of procurement experience.
• Familiarity with procurement practices; experience in a global manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and attention‑to‑detail abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Office).
