Buyer – Procurement & Inventory Management

About the role

The Buyer will support the supply chain function by managing purchase orders, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and collaborating with internal departments and external suppliers. This position ensures accurate data tracking, contributes to sales forecasting, and monitors performance against historical trends.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels of regularly used materials.
• Enter and process purchase orders and review all purchasing requisitions.
• Develop and maintain an efficient monitoring system for orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
• Update supplier and vendor information in databases and generate purchasing reports.
• Research potential suppliers, promotions, and industry trends to support purchasing decisions.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelors) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple competing tasks.
• Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.
• Excellent organization, planning and time‑management abilities.
• High personal and professional ethical standards and self‑accountability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience using SAP.
• Experience using Oracle.
