Carrier Procurement & Pricing Representative

About the role

As a Carrier Procurement & Pricing Representative you will expand Redwood's transportation network by establishing strategic carrier partnerships and supporting competitive pricing initiatives. The role is full‑time, hybrid (three days onsite) and based in Monterrey, Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Research, identify and develop new carrier relationships to broaden capacity.
• Evaluate carrier capabilities, safety records, service performance and geographic coverage.
• Build and maintain strategic carrier profiles using industry tools and market intelligence.
• Negotiate freight rates and carrier agreements while preserving strong business relationships.
• Support pricing initiatives by sourcing market‑competitive transportation costs for new and existing opportunities.
• Track weekly KPIs related to carrier development, pricing competitiveness and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in carrier sourcing, market analysis and rate negotiations.
• Ability to assess carrier performance metrics and align them with business needs.
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on cost‑effective transportation solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for building and maintaining partner relationships.
