Central Controller

About the role

Forvia is seeking a Central Controller to support controlling activities across plant operations, programs, and R&D. You will work in an international, matrix‑based environment, providing financial analysis, KPI monitoring, and data consolidation for internal reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support controlling activities in plant, program and R&D areas.
• Assist in financial data analysis and consolidation for internal reporting.
• Monitor key financial KPIs and ensure data accuracy (“right first time”).
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Support reporting using consolidation tools such as Essbase, Hyperion or PBCS.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects within an international organization.
• Provide financial insights and support problem‑solving initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and data consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• Minimum 1 + year experience in controlling or finance, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of consolidation and reporting systems (Essbase, Hyperion, PBCS or similar).
• Good understanding of IT systems and financial tools; ERP knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent or intermediate‑advanced English.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail, rigor and accountability.
• Effective communication, teamwork and basic project‑management capabilities.
• Self‑starter, autonomous, curious and proactive.
