Client Onboarding Specialist

About the role

As a Client Onboarding Specialist at SpotOn, you will lead the end‑to‑end implementation of our restaurant POS solutions for enterprise and mid‑market clients with multiple locations. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring configurations, integrations and training are delivered smoothly to drive client satisfaction and adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead onboarding consultations with key decision‑makers, define success metrics and create implementation roadmaps.
• Serve as the primary contact for executive stakeholders, maintaining proactive communication throughout the onboarding process.
• Identify and mitigate potential roadblocks, coordinating with internal teams and escalating issues when necessary.
• Partner with Success and Support teams to ensure seamless post‑installation transitions and long‑term adoption.
• Conduct detailed configuration calls to align system setup with complex multi‑location operations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Implementation teams to manage custom integrations and system optimizations.
• Test and validate technical components to minimize go‑live risks.
• Manage onboarding timelines, deliverables and dependencies to drive efficient implementations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in CRM and project‑management tools.
• Develop and refine onboarding playbooks using data and client feedback.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in customer success, client‑facing project management or onboarding roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and executive communication skills.
• Experience with multi‑location restaurant POS implementations and enterprise hospitality solutions.
