Commercial Deputy Director

About the role

The Commercial Deputy Director will be based in Monterrey and report to the Head of Distribution. This senior role leads broker and agent teams, drives distribution strategy and ensures alignment with AIG’s risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with global and local brokers across all client segments.
• Lead alternative and wholesale distribution initiatives, including bancassurance and affinity channels.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to create performance indicators for business development managers.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate guidelines while optimizing distribution processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience leading broker/agent teams with strong relationships in Monterrey.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, solve problems and prioritize client service.
• Analytical mindset with experience translating data into actionable strategies.
