Compounding Maintenance Technician

About the role

Beiersdorf is seeking a Compounding Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability, availability and proper operation of manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance while adhering to the company’s safety, quality and productivity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic failures.
• Conduct technical inspections, root‑cause analysis and record work orders in SAP.
• Interpret electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and P&ID diagrams.
• Use measurement tools such as multimeters, vibration analyzers, pressure gauges and verniers.
• Maintain motors, gear reducers, valves, pumps, steam systems and other process equipment.
• Work safely at heights and in confined spaces following LOTO and high‑risk work protocols.
• Support continuous improvement, TPM and process optimisation initiatives.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.

Required profile

• Technical or engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with industrial safety procedures, LOTO and high‑risk work protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on results and equipment availability.
