Comprador – Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Purchaser will be responsible for managing purchase orders in the SAP system, ensuring timely delivery of parts and services required for production. This role supports the supply chain by coordinating with suppliers, tracking material flow, and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Review transactions in SAP and create purchase orders according to part requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor the purchasing procedure, control and archive purchase requisitions.
• Generate, confirm, and close open purchase orders.
• Track purchased material from supplier to plant receipt.
• Analyze purchase reports to ensure on‑time delivery to the plant.
• Maintain up‑to‑date information in the SAP system.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 80% proficiency in English.
• At least three years of experience in MRP‑based purchasing.
• Strong conflict‑resolution abilities and excellent oral and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Ability to interpret and communicate ERP system information effectively.
