Construction Manager – Greenfield Capital Projects

About the role

We are building a flagship Greenfield manufacturing facility in Tlaxcala, Mexico, featuring Industry 4.0 automation and high sustainability standards. The Construction Manager will lead the end‑to‑end execution of all building and civil works, ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the engineering design firm to produce construction‑ready designs that meet Coca‑Cola standards and local regulations.
• Lead on‑site construction execution, managing contractors and overseeing all building and civil works.
• Serve as the primary interface between engineering, construction teams, and global stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, site readiness, and a smooth transition to operations during the startup phase.
• Maintain project governance, monitor performance, manage risks, and report progress to leadership.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and high performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing large‑scale capital construction projects (>$100 M), preferably in industrial, FMCG, or food & beverage sectors.
• Proven track record delivering greenfield projects and managing contractors, engineering firms, and diverse stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, contracts, permitting, and local regulations.
• Experience with sustainable building practices and LEED or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and knowledge of green building codes, environmental impact assessment, soil analysis, and water resource management.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
