Construction Manager

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on‑site construction teams for industrial projects. The role is responsible for coordinating all construction activities from mobilization through commissioning, ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and quality targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all on‑site construction activities, including HSE, QA/QC, supervision and commissioning.
• Develop, monitor and adjust construction schedules to align with overall project timelines.
• Promote a strong safety culture, conduct audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Oversee contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, reviewing work plans, method statements and permits.
• Implement QA/QC plans, manage inspections, testing and address non‑conformities.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, operations and project management teams as the primary site interface.
• Track construction budgets, manage change orders and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Lead, coach and develop site teams, fostering accountability and collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, QA/QC processes and construction contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on schedule, cost and quality performance.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder coordination and reporting.
