Continuous Improvement Director

About the role

The LEGO Continuous Improvement Director will join the site Leadership Team to drive a sustainable continuous improvement mindset across the Americas Manufacturing operation. Reporting to senior leadership, the role defines the vision, roadmap and governance for continuous improvement initiatives that align with global strategy and deliver measurable P&L impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the site’s continuous improvement strategy, synchronising global operations direction with local activation plans.
• Define and execute a 3‑ to 5‑year continuous improvement roadmap aligned to on‑site operational goals.
• Identify and deliver P&L improvements by enhancing operational efficiency and resource utilisation.
• Coach senior and middle management to embed continuous improvement behaviours and capabilities.
• Maintain and evolve the LEGO Continuous Improvement Assessment model and related KPIs.
• Establish governance for project selection, prioritisation and alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate frontline engagement through Gemba walks, Kaizen events, workshops and benchmarking activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Lean, OPEX, Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of delivering P&L impact through improvement initiatives.
• Experience with automation and digitisation projects in production settings.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at senior leadership level and influence strategic decisions.
• Strong background in leading manufacturing excellence systems and cross‑functional teams.
