Continuous Improvement Director

About the role

The LEGO Continuous Improvement Director will join the site Leadership Team to drive a sustainable continuous improvement mindset across the Americas Manufacturing network. Reporting to senior leadership, the role defines the vision, roadmap and governance for continuous improvement initiatives that align with global strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the site’s strategy to synchronize global operations direction with local activation plans.
• Define and execute a 3‑ to 5‑year continuous improvement roadmap aligned to on‑site operational goals.
• Identify and deliver P&L impact by improving operational efficiency and productivity.
• Coach senior and middle management to embed continuous improvement behaviors.
• Maintain and enhance the LEGO Continuous Improvement Assessment model year over year.
• Develop KPIs, data systems and governance processes for project selection, prioritisation and tracking.
• Facilitate Gemba walks, Kaizen events, workshops and benchmarking activities.
• Participate in global continuous improvement networks to promote standardisation and best‑practice sharing.

Required profile

• Extensive Lean/OPEX/Continuous Improvement/Six Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record with automation and digitisation initiatives.
• Experience operating on a senior leadership team and influencing strategic decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable P&L impact through improvement projects.
• Strong capability to coach and develop continuous improvement competencies across the organisation.
