Contracts Specialist II

About the role

The Contracts Specialist II supports Fortrea in preparing, negotiating, executing, and retaining a variety of agreements for study sponsors. The role ensures accurate tracking of contracts, compliance with SOPs, and timely filing of both paper and electronic documents.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, approve, and track Site Agreements and related templates for clinical study teams.
• Maintain and update the departmental Site Agreement Management System (SAMS) and other contract tracking tools.
• Identify and escalate issues according to departmental processes.
• Assist with obtaining approvals, scanning, and filing executed contracts.
• Provide regular status updates to management and support line‑manager goals.
• Draft, review, and process contracts to protect Fortrea’s interests while reflecting accurate obligations.

Required profile

• Strong adherence to SOPs and internal processes.
• Ability to apply ICH GCP principles to contract activities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional communication and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Site Agreement Management System (SAMS) or similar contract tracking software.
