Controller, Medical Group Clinics

About the role

The Clinic Controller leads the accounting function for a network of medical group clinics, overseeing all financial recording, reporting, and analysis activities. This position ensures accurate financial information, supports strategic decision‑making, and maintains compliance with internal and external requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Accounting, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Maintain and improve general ledger, accounts receivable, and cash management processes.
• Prepare internal and external financial reports, forecasts, and tax documentation.
• Develop and monitor budgets, credit policies, and investment strategies.
• Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Guide and mentor accounting staff to align with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years in public accounting or 7+ years of progressive finance experience.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, credit, investments, and internal controls.
• Ability to relate organizational goals to financial policies.
