Cost Accountant – Full‑time On‑site Role

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Cost Accountant to join our finance team in Saltillo, Coahuila. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on analyzing production costs, preparing accurate financial statements, and supporting strategic business decisions through detailed cost reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and compare standard costs versus actual production costs.
• Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) records.
• Manage inventory accruals and ensure proper cost allocation.
• Track tooling profitability and related cost drivers.
• Prepare and reconcile sales and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) reports.
• Handle fixed‑asset depreciation entries and schedules.
• Produce regular cost variance analyses and present findings to finance and production teams.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency in preparing financial statements and journal entries.
