Cost Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Cost Accountant with at least three years of experience. The successful candidate will analyze and control manufacturing and operational costs, providing clear financial insights to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze production, labour, and material costs.
• Perform variance analysis and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain and update the cost accounting system for accurate costing data.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and inventory‑related financial statements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with cost data and analysis.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance teams on cost allocation and efficiency.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review cost accounting procedures regularly and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) with strong communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
