Courier – Package Delivery Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a courteous and efficient Courier to join our FedEx Express team. You will be responsible for delivering, picking up, and sorting packages while representing the company in a professional manner.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and collect packages and documents safely using non‑articulated vehicles.
• Sort, inspect, and label shipments according to FedEx service standards.
• Load and unload packages from vehicles, aircraft, and containers, operating ramp equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, including air waybills, tax invoices, and shipping records.
• Provide customers with information on FedEx services and ensure they have necessary shipping materials.
• Uphold safety and security standards for packages, hazardous materials, and company property.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least one year of experience driving a 3.5‑ton truck.
• Valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle and a clean driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to lift 55 lb (25 kg) and maneuver packages up to 150 lb (68 kg) with equipment.

Required skills

• Vehicle operation (3.5‑ton truck).
• Map reading and route planning.
• Basic math for package counting and documentation.
• Operation of package scanning equipment.
