Customer Operations Representative

About the role

Redwood Logistics is seeking a Customer Operations Representative to join its Monterrey team. This full‑time, hybrid role (four days onsite, one day remote) focuses on delivering excellent customer service while managing daily operational tasks across our multimodal logistics platform.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage operational workflow for designated accounts, ensuring high‑quality customer service.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve unique customer problems and order delays.
• Schedule freight pick‑up and delivery appointments.
• Perform precise data entry, building orders in Redwood’s proprietary Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Provide freight status updates to shippers, receivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Communicate relevant updates to customer and internal carrier account teams as needed.
• Verify freight charges and resolve accounting discrepancies before final invoicing.
• Generate and process required paperwork for orders with strong attention to detail.
• Apply effective problem‑solving techniques to address shipment issues.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• Clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to shift focus quickly in response to market or company demands.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong critical‑thinking abilities.
• Prior customer service experience is a plus.
