Customer Service Representative – Call Center (MX)

About the role

Join Carter’s, the leading North American retailer for babies and young children, as a Call Center Universal Agent. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering friendly and efficient support across phone, email, and chat.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level customer support via phone, email, and chat.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal English.
• Identify, handle, and resolve customer inquiries accurately.
• Escalate issues to management when needed.
• Educate customers about Carter’s and OshKosh products and pursue upsell/cross‑sell opportunities.
• Document interactions, complaints, and resolutions in the contact‑center system.
• Schedule follow‑up actions according to guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate customer data.
• Participate in trainings and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred, not required).
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• Experience in a call‑center, retail, or e‑commerce environment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, follow schedules, and manage duties with minimal supervision.
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows‑based applications.
• Basic computer literacy and navigation of email and chat platforms.
• Ability to operate multiple communication channels simultaneously.
