Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

Join EagleBurgmann Mexico, part of the Freudenberg Group, as a Cyber Security Analyst. You will protect our industrial sealing technology platforms by monitoring networks, investigating incidents, and implementing security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor computer networks for security issues and respond to incidents.
• Investigate security breaches, document findings and assess damage.
• Install and manage security measures such as firewalls, data‑encryption programs and IDPS.
• Perform penetration testing, vulnerability scanning and remediate identified weaknesses.
• Develop and promote company‑wide best practices for IT security.
• Assist colleagues with security software installation and information‑security awareness.
• Research emerging security technologies and recommend enhancements to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in information security.
• Conversational English proficiency.
• Experience working in an international, multi‑time‑zone team.

Required skills

• Network penetration testing techniques.
• Firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts.
• Patch management and timely vulnerability remediation.
• Data encryption and secure configuration management.
• Vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools.
