Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Foxconn is expanding its IT team and seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to design, develop and maintain security solutions for internal software. The role involves protecting data, implementing security controls and supporting forensic investigations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce plans to protect computer files from unauthorized access, modification or loss.
• Select, deploy, monitor and upgrade anti-virus and malware protection systems.
• Encrypt data transmissions, configure firewalls and implement password authentication mechanisms.
• Update security policies, manage user access and perform risk assessments on ongoing processes.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees and maintain reliable backup procedures.
• Support computer-forensics activities, gather evidence and operate investigation labs when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or related software development.
• Hands-on experience with incident detection, incident response and digital forensics.
• Familiarity with firewalls, Office 365 security, VSX and endpoint protection solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Programming: Python, JavaScript, C++, Java, Ruby, Node.js, Go, PowerShell.
• Security tools: firewalls, anti-virus/malware platforms, encryption technologies.
• Forensics and incident response techniques.
• Windows Server (2008 or newer) administration.
