Desktop Support Analyst

About the role

HCLTech is seeking a Junior Desktop Support Analyst to join its IT team in Apodoca, Nuevo Leon. You will provide first‑line technical assistance for macOS and Windows environments, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and network resources for internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for macOS‑based hardware and software, including installation, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Provide Windows desktop support, handling hardware, software and network issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Deploy new equipment and software, manage device inventory and maintain documentation.
• Respond to support requests via phone, email or in‑person and log all incidents in the ticketing system.
• Create user guides, FAQs and knowledge‑base articles to promote self‑service.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex problems.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of both Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
