Desktop Support Technician

About the role
The Desktop Support Technician provides technical assistance to district staff and students, ensuring smooth operation of all technology services across campuses and support locations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist users in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Evaluate problems and manage technology‑related needs for multiple sites.
- Oversee repair, maintenance, and upkeep of computers, peripherals, interactive devices, printers, projectors and A/V accessories.
- Contribute to special projects and team initiatives related to technology support.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED; associate degree in Computer Science preferred or 60 hours of college coursework.
- CompTIA A+ or HDI certification highly preferred.
- At least one year of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing computers and peripherals.
