Digital Training Manager

About the role

Bayer is seeking a Digital Training Manager to lead the design, implementation and evaluation of training programs for its Sales and Commercial teams. The role combines expertise in learning technologies, sales coaching and pharmaceutical knowledge to boost product knowledge and selling performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose training needs across sales, medical promotion and commercial functions.
• Design comprehensive training plans (content, timelines, KPIs, evaluations) aligned with business objectives.
• Implement, monitor and evaluate training initiatives using digital tools and e‑learning platforms.
• Maintain consolidated training data in the designated system.
• Lead certification programs for Salesforce on scientific content, selling skills and coaching, following Bayer global standards.
• Regularly review and update training plans.
• Advise managers on talent development, retention and support recruitment of new sales representatives.
• Develop onboarding strategies for new medical and commercial team members.
• Provide ad‑hoc training support for other pharma projects (e.g., Market Access, PSP).
• Conduct field visits to gather insights on training effectiveness and sales performance.

Required profile

• University degree in Communication, Business Administration, HR Management, Medicine or related health‑sector studies.
• Proven experience in sales training, coaching or mentoring.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing third‑party providers.
• Advanced English proficiency and willingness to travel.
