Director Global BOE&S – Business Planning Excellence

About the role

Based in Mexico City, the Director Global BOE&S – Business Planning Excellence will lead enterprise‑wide transformation of planning, decision‑making and delivery across Orbia Building & Infrastructure’s global operations. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the Business Operations Excellence agenda and drive measurable results worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Business Operations Excellence strategy covering S&OP/IBP, portfolio & product data governance and OTIF performance.
• Establish a robust operating cadence with clear ownership, data standards, decision rights and escalation paths.
• Lead end‑to‑end S&OP/IBP transformation, embed best practices and raise maturity across regions.
• Drive portfolio segmentation and complexity reduction, building business cases that improve service, cost, working capital and operational stability.
• Improve OTIF performance by addressing root causes and performance drivers.
• Build and develop a high‑impact team while influencing senior stakeholders in a global matrix organization.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience driving global operations or supply‑chain performance, especially in S&OP/IBP and Operational Excellence.
• Proven record of delivering sustainable, measurable transformation results.
• Strong governance mindset and systems thinking with ability to design scalable ways of working.
• Experience linking portfolio and lifecycle decisions to planning and financial outcomes.
• Excellent executive communication and influence skills in a matrix environment.
• Data‑driven, KPI‑focused mindset.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong plus.
