Early Year Spanish Teacher

About the role

The Early Year Spanish Teacher will guide preschool learners in a bilingual environment, fostering curiosity, creativity, and foundational academic skills through play and inquiry. The role is based at Kipling School, a private bilingual institution in Mexico City.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, play‑based lessons aligned with the SEP and IB PYP frameworks.
• Design transdisciplinary learning experiences that integrate Spanish language development.
• Support early literacy and numeracy growth.
• Assess and document student progress regularly.
• Maintain strong communication with families.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and well‑organized classroom environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• English proficiency certification at minimum B2 level.
• Experience teaching preschool children.
• Experience collaborating in team planning.

Required skills

• Knowledge of play‑based and inquiry‑based teaching approaches.
• Classroom management and effective communication.
• Familiarity with IB PYP and SEP curricula.
• Understanding of inclusive education and child development.
