Early Years Educator

About the role

The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM), part of the Inspired Education Group, is seeking an Early Years Educator to support the delivery of high‑quality bilingual education for children aged 2 to 5. You will work closely with the lead teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes play‑based and structured learning.

Key responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in planning and delivering daily classroom activities.
• Assist in implementing play‑based and structured learning experiences.
• Help manage classroom routines, transitions, and student behaviour.
• Provide individual and small‑group support to students.
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe and report on children’s development and progress.
• Prepare classroom materials and resources.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience.
• Assist in school events and early years activities.

Required profile

• Experience working with early childhood students.
• Relevant qualification in education or childcare (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patient, caring, and supportive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Basic classroom management skills.
• Organised and proactive approach.
• Advanced English proficiency (required).
