Engineering Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Team Leader to drive high‑impact delivery in a fully remote, global environment. You will lead a small, high‑performing team while staying hands‑on with product development and technical decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 3‑5 engineers, ensuring quality delivery and healthy dynamics.
• Balance hands‑on coding with leadership duties, contributing directly to product features.
• Own hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of team members.
• Provide regular feedback, coaching, and mentorship.
• Drive planning, prioritization, and execution focused on efficiency and outcomes.
• Act as the primary spokesperson for the team, aligning with stakeholders.
• Define and implement AI‑driven engineering workflows to improve speed and scalability.
• Introduce verification mechanisms such as testing, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Collaborate across functions to improve processes, system design, and organizational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing 2‑5 engineers with responsibility for performance and delivery.
• Strong backend engineering background with production‑grade systems.
• Track record of shipping secure, scalable, and reliable software.
• Experience with automation, workflow orchestration, or agentic systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to align engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
