Facility Project Manager

About the role

Join the Facilities (WS&O) service department and lead projects that shape the plant’s infrastructure. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering construction, retrofit, and expansion initiatives that ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse steering committee needs, define project scope, objectives, stakeholders and deliverables, and develop feasibility studies and business cases following the LEGO Project Model.
• Create and maintain action plans, prioritize tasks, and standardise procedures, KPIs, reports and metrics for the department.
• Manage stakeholder communication and collaboration throughout all project phases, including contingency planning.
• Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with LEGO Construction Standards and eliminating safety risks.
• Coordinate internal processes such as EHS, security, governance, procurement and legal.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure proper hand‑over to the receiving organization.
• Establish temporary project organisations, secure required resources, and work with the Financial Controller on budget approval and control.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in construction or industrial environments.
• Strong background in managing large‑scale facilities, equipment, and technology projects.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Knowledge of local and national regulations, as well as corporate standards.
