Factory Controller – Finance (Mexico)

About the role

Unilever is seeking an experienced Finance professional to serve as Factory Controller for its Lerma and Condiments Tultitlán plants in Mexico. The role combines financial governance, SOX compliance, and strategic partnership with manufacturing, operations and supply chain teams to drive performance and value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Finance business partner for the factories, shaping operational and financial strategy with Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain leaders.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly close and performance reporting, providing accurate financial information and KPI visibility.
• Identify cost, efficiency and waste opportunities, turning variances into actionable plans and driving savings initiatives.
• Safeguard SOX compliance, financial governance and control standards, overseeing inventory, fixed assets, reconciliations and waste management.
• Lead CAPEX and investment decisions, validating results and ensuring sustainable value creation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics.
• More than 5 years of finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or supply‑chain finance.
• Strong knowledge of SOX controls, inventory, fixed assets and cost management.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
