Factory Supply Planner

About the role

The Factory Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring the efficient supply of BIC’s marker product portfolio, including Brite Liner Classic, Grip, and Permanent Markers. The role balances customer demand, manufacturing capacity, material availability, and inventory targets across multiple global sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short‑ and medium‑term production plans for assigned product families.
• Balance manufacturing capacity, material supply, and inventory objectives to meet service level goals.
• Monitor supply‑demand dynamics, identify risks, and implement proactive mitigation plans.
• Optimize inventory levels while minimizing obsolescence and excess stock.
• Serve as the primary interface between global supply‑chain teams, regional stakeholders, and manufacturing facilities.
• Facilitate communication and decision‑making across Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
• Lead and participate in strategic supply‑chain and operational‑excellence projects.
• Drive planning process improvements and support the implementation of tools such as Anaplan and Blue Yonder.
• Analyze large datasets to support planning decisions and generate actionable insights.
• Monitor and report key supply‑chain performance indicators.

Required profile

• Master's degree or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience working in a complex, global environment.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and drive results.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Anaplan planning software.
• Experience using Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) supply‑chain tools.
• Advanced data analysis skills, including handling large datasets.
