Fashion Merchandising Buyer

About the role

We are looking for a Fashion Merchandising Buyer to support the selection of merchandise that matches our brand’s aesthetic and resonates with our customers. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in trend research, supplier visits, and product planning within a fast‑paced fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and selecting merchandise aligned with the brand’s style and target market.
• Visit wholesale markets and supplier zones (e.g., Tepito, San Mateo) to evaluate products and choose optimal items.
• Research fashion trends, consumer behavior, and industry developments through shows, social media, and market reports.
• Contribute to trend forecasting and seasonal product planning to meet market demand.
• Support buying strategies and help shape the overall product assortment.
• Provide input on visual merchandising for in‑store and online displays.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activity and product performance.
• Maintain communication with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade or a related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong interest in fashion and understanding of fast‑fashion dynamics.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and a good eye for commercially appealing products.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
