About the role
The Simulation Engineer joins Bosch's system engineering group to support internal product development teams in defining requirements for current and future power‑related components and subsystems. You will apply advanced simulation techniques to analyse component behaviour under realistic engine and vehicle scenarios.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and validate Finite Element models for multiple powertrain components.
- Perform static, dynamic and thermal simulations to assess performance and reliability.
- Analyse simulation results to identify cause‑effect relationships and support engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate simulation insights into design recommendations.
- Manage development activities for new projects, ensuring compliance with internal and external specifications.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience with Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations.
- Strong understanding of static and dynamic mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer and internal combustion processes.
- Familiarity with powertrain components and automotive engineering environments.
