Finance Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our GAC Mexicali site. The role will support the finance team by collecting and analysing financial data related to expenses, investments, cash flows and returns, and by providing insights for decision‑making across business units.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse costs of production and operations, including Mexican and US cost strategies for various products.
• Evaluate investment projects, new product launches and inter‑plant transfers, assessing potential savings, ROI and cash flow.
• Prepare and present monthly material presentations and obsolete reserve reports to material and finance management.
• Perform month‑end variance analysis for material costing and conduct warehouse audits, cycle counts and support physical inventories.
• Assess company risks, participate in negotiations impacting the organization, and follow finance team plans, strategies and goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum three years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience leading improvement projects.
• Ability to train, support and advise specialists and management.
• Advanced spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP, particularly material costing modules.
• Experience in material costing and financial analysis.
