Finance Manager (Financial Control)

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Finance Manager (Financial Control) to join its Finance team in Mexico. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will oversee the financial control of Revolut's TechCo entities, including non‑operating branches and subsidiaries of Revolut Ltd.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly accounting close process and bookkeeping while collaborating with the Shared Service Centre.
• Oversee month‑on‑month movements in the general ledger.
• Collaborate with the Global Tax team on VAT and corporate income tax filings.
• Manage local audits and ensure compliance with local taxation requirements.
• Support the launch of new branches and manage accounting vendors.
• Act as the primary finance contact for the entity.
• Lead automation projects to improve reporting efficiency.
• Enhance processes to boost accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting through automation and control measures.

Required profile

• Fluency in English.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar finance role (4+ years if a qualified accountant).
• Background as an external auditor with financial services exposure or as a financial controller/accountant in a large organisation.
• Knowledge of Mexican direct and indirect tax regulations.
• Strong understanding of IFRS standards.

• NetSuite accounting software.
