Financial Analyst – Gas Turbine Finance

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join the Blades and Vanes Organization within Siemens Energy’s Gas Turbine team in North America. The role focuses on monitoring, reporting, and providing strategic recommendations to improve the financial health of the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of cost‑center data to ensure effective financial control.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable balances to maintain financial integrity.
• Generate reports that facilitate KPI‑driven improvements.
• Analyze subcontract inventory data to optimize resource allocation.
• Oversee customs and freight cost control, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (equivalent experience considered).
• CPA, MSA, or MBA preferred.
• 2–5 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Cost Accounting/Budgeting, including budget development, costing, forecasting, cost‑center analysis, and variance analysis.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical counterparts.
• Strong attention to detail with the capability to transform large volumes of data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy.
