Financial Analyst

About the role

Motivus is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting and performance tracking for strategic projects. The role involves monitoring project financials, analysing variances and providing accurate forecasts to enable informed business decisions in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets and track financial performance against plan.
• Analyse budget variances and deliver insights on financial performance.
• Prepare and maintain forecasts (FCST) and year‑to‑date projections.
• Validate benefits and explain financial variances to stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate allocation and application of project financial charges.
• Partner with local finance teams to guarantee financial accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in month‑end close, financial forecasting and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and executive presentations to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, financial planning or project financial management.
• Intermediate to advanced English (B2+/C1) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and international teams.
