Financial Analyst – Technology Planning & Analysis (Transitional Services)

About the role

Citi is looking for a Financial Analyst to join the Technology Planning & Analysis team within the Mexico Transitional Services Office (TSO). The role focuses on the financial integrity of technology‑related Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs), providing fee projections, cost analysis, and insight that support global transition initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to forecast technology‑related TSA fees across billing cycles.
• Analyze actual service provider costs versus TSA fee schedules, identifying variances and opportunities for cost recovery or optimization.
• Collaborate with TSA Service Management and external providers to refine cost structures and support cost‑reduction planning during TSA exits.
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for technology expenditures, emphasizing TSA‑related costs and revenue streams.
• Deliver financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to TSO management and technology leadership.
• Partner with technology, procurement, legal, and business teams worldwide to align service consumption, cost structures, and contractual terms.
• Manage large financial and operational datasets to generate decision‑ready insights while ensuring data integrity.

Required profile

• Five or more years of experience in financial planning & analysis, cost accounting, or a comparable finance discipline, preferably within the technology division of a large global financial institution.
• Proven ability to build financial models, prepare budgets and forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and manage cost reporting with rigor.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
