Financial Analyst – Transformation of Industry

About the role

As a Financial Analyst in Siemens Energy’s Transformation of Industry division, you will be at the heart of financial accuracy and operational impact. You will partner closely with supply‑chain teams, resolve invoice discrepancies, and support month‑end activities while leveraging digital tools and SAP.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and resolve third‑party and internal accounts‑payable discrepancies.
• Partner with the Supply Chain organization to address vendor invoice issues.
• Create and maintain standard cost calculations in the ERP system, including annual cost revaluation.
• Drive digitalisation and process‑improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Produce and report monthly KPIs for inventory and accounts payable.
• Analyze general‑ledger accounts, ensure accurate financial reporting, and complete month‑end balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Execute special projects, ad‑hoc reports, and other accounting duties as required.
• Ensure compliance with risk and internal‑control procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant financial‑analyst experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS is a plus).

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP ERP system.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with digital tools such as Alteryx and PowerBI.
