Financial and Operational Compliance Coordinator

About the role

The Financial and Operational Compliance Coordinator will report to the Controller and ensure that all financial and operational requirements across properties are owned, have clear deadlines, and are supported by verified evidence. The role also includes collections and delinquency management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a register of all financial and operational compliance requirements, deadlines and owners.
• Coordinate submission of approved documents for lenders, insurance, tax, licenses and contracts, ensuring receipt before deadlines.
• Control evidence by keeping inspection records, filings and certificates up to date and tracking renewals.
• Perform control checks against procedures to identify missing evidence or gaps and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage delinquency tracking, site collection procedures, eviction filings and bond recovery claims.
• Oversee collection agency referrals, monitor open cases and report net recoveries.

Required profile

• Background in financial or operational compliance, property administration or audit reviews with documented corrective actions.
• Strong analytical ability to verify approval records, account balances and compliance evidence.
• Clear spoken and written English to hold internal teams and external vendors accountable.
• High attention to detail when handling confidential financial and resident data.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience using shared cloud filing systems.
• Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi (nice‑to‑have).

What we offer

• Salary $1,800‑$2,200 USD per month, paid bi‑weekly on a contractor basis.
• Hybrid work model – at least two days per week in the Mexico City office.
