Financial Tax Analyst

About the role

The Financial Tax Analyst will lead tax activities across several Latin American countries while supporting core finance functions such as monthly and annual closing, revenue, cost and margin analysis, and journal processing. This role partners with regional sales and finance leaders to shape tax strategy, ensure compliance, and manage tax risk for the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance and reporting for Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Costa Rica.
• Support finance activities including monthly/annual closing, income, cost and margin reviews, and journal entries.
• Co‑define and execute the tax strategy for the Americas, aligning with business objectives.
• Maintain full compliance and governance over statutory filings, tax reporting and regulatory obligations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate tax risks while safeguarding the organization’s tax position.
• Collaborate with country finance teams, global tax functions, business units and shared service centers to standardise tax practices.
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns, transfer‑pricing documentation and tax calculations.
• Build relationships with external tax authorities, advisers and auditors; support tax and financial audits.
• Continuously improve tax processes, resolve data issues and stay updated on tax law changes.

Required profile

• Broad background in corporate, indirect and withholding tax.
• Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations and statutory reporting.
• Qualified accountant with audit experience and deep tax expertise.
• Ability to identify tax risks and opportunities.
• Leadership qualities and high precision in tax calculations.
