Flow Controller – Procurement & Planning Specialist

About the role

The Flow Controller oversees the procurement and planning of materials for highly customized engineer‑to‑order (ETO) products. Working closely with engineering, production, and suppliers, the role ensures that every component arrives on time and meets unique customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales orders and engineering designs.
• Convert master production schedules into detailed material requirements using SAP MRP.
• Coordinate with engineering to keep BOMs and routings accurate for each ETO order.
• Create and manage purchase requisitions and orders in SAP, negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Track cost allocations, material availability, and supplier performance for ETO projects.
• Maintain accurate SAP master data, monitor delivery performance, and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with production, quality, finance and other functions to ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in planning or buying within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP ERP, especially MRP and procurement modules.
• Familiarity with ETO or project‑based manufacturing processes.
