Front-End Developer (JavaScript)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer to join our Platform Applications and Components team. In this role you will provide technical leadership for both frontend and backend development, troubleshoot issues, assist with updates, and optimize performance across our systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance in developing and maintaining JavaScript‑based application frameworks and components.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of frameworks with other systems.
• Optimize performance, improving speed, scalability, and reliability of the frameworks.
• Mentor and train junior team members, sharing expertise.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions, offering technical insights.
• Maintain documentation such as technical specifications, user guides, and release notes.
• Assist in planning and executing software releases and work with QA to meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of software engineering or product development experience focused on web applications.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities in an Agile environment.
• Proficient English communication skills (C1 level).

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap.
• Vanilla JavaScript and jQuery.
• DOM manipulation and responsive UI design.
• Experience with REST APIs and HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE).
• SQL database querying and CRUD operations.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for web applications.
