Fullstack PHP Developer (Magento 2 & WordPress) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Full‑Stack PHP Developer with deep expertise in Magento 2 and WordPress to take technical ownership of our clients’ digital ecosystems. The position is fully remote, serving our Latin‑America market.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and stabilize existing Magento 2 installations, including architecture, EAV models and UI components.
• Develop, customize and integrate WordPress themes, plugins and hooks.
• Audit, refactor and document legacy codebases, reducing technical debt.
• Optimize MySQL queries and manage caching layers such as Redis, Varnish and Elasticsearch.
• Implement and maintain REST/GraphQL integrations between Magento, WordPress and external ERP/CRM systems.
• Handle deployments, version control (Git) and Linux server environments (Nginx/Apache).
• Ensure security compliance, including PCI, Magento patches and WordPress hardening.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with Magento 2.x and WordPress development.
• Strong command of PHP 8, OOP, Composer and PSR standards.
• Ability to work with legacy code, perform audits and produce clear documentation.
• Experience with performance tuning and caching strategies.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams.
