General Accountant

About the role

Autoliv is seeking a General Accountant to join its finance team within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on cost accounting, ensuring accurate cost structures and supporting financial analysis for continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain standard costs in ERP systems (JDE), ensuring accuracy in cost structures.
• Monitor and analyze inventory transactions, reconcile shipper reports with system data, and support month‑end closing activities.
• Track Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and ensure proper cost reporting.
• Perform financial analysis of actual expenses versus budget, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support forecast projections and provide insights to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a specialization in costs.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing setting.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JDE.
